Doris deSha
“The only difference between an artist and anyone else is that the artist has been trained to see differently. I hope I can help the viewer of my work experience that difference.“
The paintings of Ms. deSha hand in collections in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Her travels inspire much of her work.
Her art education began at Auburn University and was developed over the years by study with outstanding artists such as Dong Kingman, Larry Rivers, Roy Lichtenstein, Charles Reid, Edward Betts, Zoltan Szabo, Charles Sovek and many others.
She refers to herself as a “perpetual student.” She is a master teacher who derives great pleasure from helping her students realize their artistic potential.
